Optimum offers Scissor Lift Tables for Hazardous Environment Applications
Optimum Handling Solutions recently supplied a large number of their Pal-evator spring scissor lift tables to a large international mining company for use in underground mining applications.
The Pal-evator scissor lifts have been found suitable for the Class 1, Zone 1 application as there are no motors or electrical components.
The platform of the scissor lift tables includes a rotating turntable, enabling the operator to unstack pallets of explosives safely and ergonomically.
The hot dipped galvanised finish of the robust scissor lift tables offers protection against underground moisture. The scissor lifts are alternatively available in stainless steel or powder-coated finish.
Standard configuration allows these scissor lifts to be adjusted to handle pallet weights from 250kg to 1200kg. The scissor lift tables can also be supplied to handle 2000kg loads.
